about

This album has been sitting in my digital archives for FIFTEEN YEARS. Why I never released it, I do not know. Brian was an amazing talent and young musician when I met him in Florida around 2004. He was open to ideas and creating music that stood the test of time. His vocals sound strained, a la Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, and many other singer songwriters I love. He embodied the spirit of Morrison, Joplin, and the voice of those fighting depression and addiction. The songs are raw, honest, and may make the listener cry. That is the purpose of music isn't it? To evoke emotion and pull something out of the listener? This album has been very therapeutic to me throughout the years, and I still don't understand our hesitation to release it to the masses. Maybe we were too reserved to put it out, maybe we did not have confidence in the material. Many of the songs come from a dark place that makes people uncomfortable, but there is a truth in the songs. After years of listening to this album and several close friends knowing about it, it's time is way past due. This is the Terry Callier of my catalog. One love to a tortured soul, brilliant songwriter, and incredible artist. Enjoy,

Midax Musik San Antonio, Texas

Established in 2001 as a hobby label to release cassettes of poetry and random noises. Label flounder Max Edman has wasted his life on music & wack artists that never sold. After decades of digital marketing and putting in MAD work, he no longer gives a fuck and quits! He made a little over $1100 in 13 years over 102 albums on this platform. You do the math, if you even stagger upon this page. ... more
