This was a phone recording with my brother Paul 10 years ago and was meant to be put on 3 different albums but the idea was scrapped. It felt like a good fit on this Xicano based project as that is what he aspired to be even though he did not have a full understanding of its meaning. I hope he is smiling from the heavens as he is the only brother I had that embraced his Mexican roots fully even while ignorant to it at the same time. In the spirit of his dual identity which we all grapple with as Mexican-Americans. Te Amo Hermano!
