about

This is album of material recorded several years ago with a good friend of mine when we met in Florida. Jae is a gospel trained singer and sketch artist currently residing in Auburn, AL. These recordings were realized and co-written together in short time at my studio in less than a week, during a very difficult period in our lives with relationships. The work ethic was focused and very intense, with Jae structuring layered harmonies over specifically crafted tracks designed with him in mind.
Although this project was scheduled for release many times, I had reservations, was awaiting future collaborations, and like protecting my very own lovechild, I hesitated to let it go out into the world. These songs had been leaked to several artists and singers over time, amateur to professional, to get a second opinion, all of which were very positive and critically praised. None of the tunes sound dated or have lost their punch regardless of the delay. If you are a fan of smooth bluesy soul music of ANY generation, the sounds here are dedicated to you. Like a vintage wine, these songs only sounded better over time to me, and it is my honor to finally release this music. It is filled with emotion and depth that I feel much modern soul music lacks. I hope you hear it as i have, over and over again.... -Tha Midax

After decades of digital marketing and putting in MAD work, he no longer gives a fuck and quits! He made a little over $1100 in 13 years over 102 albums on this platform. You do the math, if you even stagger upon this page. ... more
