The first of 3 collaborations between San Antonio Hip Hop fixture/activist/percussionist Alvaro "Itzli" Ramirez, and San Antonio based producer Max "Tha Midax" Edman. In this album the listener will find humor, poignant observations on politics, life in San Anto, musings on love and pain in both English AND Spanish. Pop Pistol bassist George Garza lends vocals to Cloud 9, a sweet song about the nervousness of approaching a girl for the first time and the subsequent results. Carne Guisada adds the gravy to When I Grow Up, a fun song about a young boy's desire to be a pro Mexican wrestler. Tracks range in sound from Sp1200 and SP303 lo-fi gritty to digitally sharp.....there's a little something here for practically ANY hip hop connoisseur. FULL ALBUM downloads receive a bonus instrumental track.
